bfa senior exhibition, in retrospect.
I had a really great experience with my senior show. Everyone in my group was super agreeable, very helpful, and produced some high quality work. This was also my first actual gallery show that I have had to hang myself, so I learned a lot about framing, matting, measuring, hanging, printing, advertising, planning a reception… I guess I never really thought too much about how much work went into putting a show together! But I wasn’t alone- Kelly Griffin was a huge help in everything and Jacque Donaldson was my savior in measuring and hanging help. One thing that I was particularly happy about was the fact that the reception had a really great turnout. There was so much traffic going through the exhibit… I think everyone got some exceptional EXPOSURE (get it, cause that was our exhibition title!).
ANYWAY, since I know you all have been dying to see my finished space pieces, here is a gallery of the five images that I included in the exhibition, as well as some installation views of Gallery 100! Please feel free to post comments and let me know what you think! And here is a link to the Flickr gallery so if you want to check out the full sizes of all of these images, you may: Space Set on Flickr!

I’m glad it turned out so well! Thanks for the shoutout!!
I’m also really glad we had such a great turnout. Way more than I expected!
It was a great show and really interesting to see how 8 different photographers, all taking the same curriculum, produced such TOTALLY different bodies of work! Good job everyone!
Very creative Sarah! Well done! I wish I’d been part of the crowd at the opening. Congratulations on your BFA and a successful exhibit!
Congratulations on all of your great successes Sarah! Your photos are beautiful, like Hubbell photos. You could probably take fabulous photos looking out of Jock’s windshield it’s so caked in what ever. Best of luck,
Sonchen
