space: further developments
So, I graduated! That’s pretty neat! I’ve been doing a lot of stock photo editing this summer, but I realized that I haven’t blogged about my artwork in a while. Here are two more space pieces that didn’t make it in time for my show, but are more or less resolved now. The first one hasn’t been named yet, but the photograph is composited out of photos of dirt on a car windshield and some glitter. I did a little bit of digital drawing on that one as well, which is something I haven’t used much in this Space series. The second image is made out of a photograph of some raindrops, a rainbow reflection of a CD on my ceiling, and a close up of a sponge. It is reminiscent of the Crab Nebula, if you ask me. :] It’s called M08 Celluporous Nebula, and it’s actually up in a Spraygraphic photo show at Phoenicia Association downtown.
If you guys have any questions about the process of making these, or anything further about what photos went into each of the creations, please don’t hesitate to ask! There are about a million ways to contact me, so leave me a comment or check out my “Contact” page linked at the top. And as always, you can find bigger versions of these images at my Flickr page.
