shadow portraits

June 26, 2010

I know I’ve been totally slacking lately on the blogging! I’ve been all over the place- setting up jobs, traveling, portraits, but I’m BACK and ready to do some serious posting. Here are some of my favorite portraits of Lauren in our shadow portraits shoot, with what I think is a good sampling of different edits. I loved the way these turned out. We had so much fun doing it and we got to channel one of our favorite shows: America’s Next Top Model. (For those who maybe don’t subscribe to the same caliber of television programming that we do, Tyra did a photo shoot with a related concept on an episode.) Please don’t  hesitate to leave any feedback if you’ve got it.

  1. Good Afternoon!!! LOVE the photos! i seen this on ANTM as well! im doing a similiar shoot next week for a party invitation. Im going to purchase fabric designs today! my question is are u shooting through the fabric or the model. For ex. i have a studio light and a small stand to hold the fabric. if i face the camera towards the model will it have the same effect as if i was to shoot through the fabric lol> i know im confusing. Thanx for listening …email me at MrEverythingDS@gmail,com Thanx again
