About

I’m a photographer and recent BFA graduate from Arizona State. I love finding inspiration in odd or unexpected places and am always willing to try new things. I enjoy trying different ethnicities of food and am devoted to the Phoenix Suns and my puppy Chowder!

On this blog, I often write about the photographic projects that I am currently working on. Along with the descriptions of the projects, I also include pictures of the pieces, sometimes in progress and sometimes completed. In addition to these write-ups, I also write exhibition reviews for shows that I go and see, and I post summaries of the things that inspire me as an artist. I enjoy posting the inspirations especially because I would hope that someone reading could be inspired by them as well.

  2. Sarah, I just found your blog searching for LensBaby. I need to do more shooting with my LensBaby Composer system. Thank you for being an inspiration.

    • Hi! I’m glad you were inspired. The Lensbaby system is a beautiful one. I wish I had the composer though, mine is the Lensbaby 2.0 and I’m jealous of you :)

  3. I started off with the 2.8 (the original). When I saw the Composer at ProPhoto Expo I decided to find a buyer for mine so I could put the money towards the Composer. What I like most of all is that I can use it for time exposures.

Anyway, save those nickles and dimes and get one sooner or later. (Who knows, maybe there’s someone out there who would rather have the 2.0. Afterall, a kid traded a cell phone up to a Porche on Craig’s List. If he can do that, I’d imagine there would be a way to make a few trades up to the Composer.) ;-)

    • That’s a good idea, I should try to sell it to upgrade. And yeah, I read about that kid! Those Craigslist swaps are crazy. Didn’t he have a more valuable car first, but then traded it down to be the only teenager with a Porsche at his school? The world is a crazy place.
